The Matlacha Mariners are preparing for their largest outdoor event, the 10th Annual Southwest Florida Blues Festival. The festival is scheduled for Saturday November 21, 2009 (rain date Sunday, November 22) at the German American Social Club, 2101 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL . This event is recognized as one of the Best Blues Festivals in the State. People have already begun to contact us regarding the dates, entertainment line up and travel arrangements. This festival is a one day extravaganza with gates opening at 11:00 am, music beginning at 11:30 a.m. and lasting until 9:30 p.m. There is a very reasonable attendance fee to enter the festival. No spectator coolers are allowed! Please remember this is our largest non-profit fund raiser largely benefiting Pine Island Elementary School and other local charitable endeavors.
We are extending an invitation to you to apply for booth space at this year’s festival. The following guidelines have been established to provide a clean environment and pleasant ambiance for the patrons.
Vendor Set Up: You should have enough time to set up the day of the festival but if you prefer to set up or pre set up the day before you may.
11/20/09 Pre-Set Up: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm someone will be there to meet you. Enter at the far Eastern gravel driveway.
11/21/09 Event Day, Set Up: 8:30 am – 10:00 am
We need to have everyone ready to serve the festival attendees by 10:00 am.

ART/CRAFT VENDOR INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
Each location will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Ideally all booths or canopies should be white. If needed, vendors must supply their own tables, chairs, lights, extension cords, etc. Vendors are responsible for all state and federal taxes, including sales taxes. We will supply 110v, 20a, for lighting and fans. Your fee includes two free entry passes to the event.
