At Full Blown Glass we create colorful, affordable lampwork and blown glass home goods and wearable art. Each piece is handmade by glass artist Brent Earnest and jewelry designer/apprentice lampwork artist Heather Fulp.

We love using glass as a medium!

When not in the FBG Studio, Brent works full-time as a chef. In their free time Team FBG are usually completing home renovations, camping, or relaxing at Ft. De Soto dog park with their 2 Weimaraners Colby & Jack.

FolkFest St. Pete 2008

I mentioned this event in our FBG summer schedule blog post. I received information today that there are 5 spaces available for those that are interested. Price is decent for 2-day event.

**Unfortunately upon further research I learned this is a juried event. Info states: only artist who create works that are in the category of folk, outsider, intuit and visionary art?? (ha! had we realized that we probably won't have applied...I'm still not sure where we fit on the list :). I figured it was wo… Continue

host 2 local outdoor markets; one in Riverview on Saturdays and the other in the Dover area on Sundays. “The Market” includes businesses such as yours along with direct sales, local arts crafts and “fresh” and ready to sell items.

So far both markets are planned until mid January. During the month of December there will be a Christmas trees at “The Markets” which will bring in mega business during the holiday season.

Please respond if you are interested in participating in one or both of these weekend markets. You can come on a week to week basis or reserve booth space in advance to fit your schedule.

I still have booth space available at both markets for this weekend!

Hello FBG! Season is coming I tell you. I know I posted one million things, but in particular I posted the Thieves Market. I think you'd enjoy it. The price is right. Ask to be put by me if you sign up so we can all tag team on bathroom and swim breaks. I also think you'd do well with Bradenton. I put it on events October 18--but it runs every two weeks. It is one of the rare places that has consistent Christmas shows. FINALLY...if you're close, November 1--I'm running a show at Quaker Steak and Lub to raise money for Hospice in memory of my dad who died last year. Think on it!! If you want to get the best $ shows for Thieves, pick January-March. I am doing them all...one show usually pays the whole money back...and there is usually one that doesn't work well for me. But overall, I find it good. By the second year, I was doing better. People loved seeing me there. The whole deal. Anyway, I hope you guys have a brilliant season and I see you out there! Suzie of Gulfport is putting together a special event around T-giving she hasn't posted yet, so keep an eye out for that too.

I'm on this waking up at 4am thing. My best friend in this world killed himself a month ago and I am dying to death. So I'm going to try to turn that into work. Can't fix it after all. Got to use this for something or it'll turn on me. I know we've all been through this. Was happy to see your work at the Restless Native. You guys might try the Mermaids Attic too. She likes greens and blues. She's nice. Are you doing Geckofest? I AM ACTUALLY running a little show November 1 you are required to commit to. I'll post on it later. PLUS you gotta do some Bradenton and I'll be telling you about this October 25-6 event soon. I told them you guys would demo and I think you'd make some money. I just hope it isn't $$$. Will keep you in the loop.

Hey You, I was talking to one of the stores that sells my work in Anna Maria. She does consignment 40/60 with a $20 ad fee every 3 months. She wants some glass, ceramic artists as two of hers have moved on. It is coastal, manatee, dolphin, fish PLUS funky. It is a small shop, but she does a good seasonal business. I've built my business with her over 2 years. She has had the shop 3 years and always pays on time. I can give you her name to set up an appointment if you wish. I don't know that you have an interest. I consider her sort of an income stream. Not getting rich...but I'm gettin'-you know? Plus I get regular custom orders off of her. Sort of gives me a store front on the island.

I noticed that is all some people on here do. I can't remember WHO though. The feedback has been positive. But you know how it goes...good show for one person...bad for another. I just need 10 people who like what I do. Sometimes that 10 shows up in 100 people, 3000 or just 20. Never know for sure. I'm trying a winery show out in Plant City, Square one ( look for it in blog), Gulfport and Bradenton Historic Bridge Street in May. The latter to I have has some success at.
