Oh I see the pack up advisory on the pirate fest. This show is going to stress out my resources, but I hope I learn something.

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you. I'm out in the country doing this show and I'm about to lose my mind! I haven't sent you a love letter lately. But thank you for being you and doing a great job. I'll be back on the Gport train third Saturdays or so in June. How should I plan to leave my stuff or NOT at Pirate Fest on Saturday night? Can you post a reminder show up time and the like here or to me? Is the show booked? I will tell you how this show is run. You'll wonder how it didn't turn into an agricultural murder mystery.

Thank you for your interest in Gulfport Events!

Got the app, thanks, and you are approved!...Bring your dog, and lots of water! Umbrellas are fine, and healthy! You will not be boxed in by other vendors...to date, we always leave a 1/2 space in between, but I believe YOU are going to have a special spot! (NEAR A BAR!) OVERNIGHT SECURITY IS PROVIDED, HOWEVER THE JOHN'S PASS VILLAGE ASSOCIATION IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE. I would recomend you pack up on Saturday night. For the first time in 30 years, someone got robbed at JLPD last year. :-( The same vendor also got robbed at BARF again this past season. (interresting?.. To say the least!) You can call Condos By Sirata for a 20% discount..just mention code JLPD...a link to their website is on ours... http://johnspassfestivals.com/jlpd/docs/accomodations.html

I'll be talking to you later today and definitely see you tonight...but I'll forget to ask. I sent in the app and $ for the pirate fest. Can I set up there with my dog? Can I use an umbrella that fastens in the ground? Or? Is there a way to get two open sides and shade ( for the princess!) AND BY A BAR ( for my inner princess...)...but more seriously, is there overnight security or will I have to take down and reset up? AND is there a John's Pass merchant/supporter offering overnight packages for show persons? Or should I just sleep on my spot? I could do that. IF I AM CLOSE TO A BAR. ;)

I added the EVENTS section. It doesn't have a calendar function really. It almost duplicates the BLOG but in a date order...you'd have to list CALL FOR VENDORS in one spot and the actual event in the other. I put in the April 19th artwalk so you could see what I meant. I could delete the blog function so that everything would have to be entered in as an event...or...if you have thoughts send'm my way.

Hey SK...I sent out about 5 press releases on the site today. If I manage any media interest I'm going to give them your number too so we can share all our key and overlapping stories and thoughts on the topic. File under nothing ventured. We're up to 74 people and I'm working on getting the Bradenton arts Village in too. See you soon.
