St Patrick's Day (Indian Shores)

I am planning on setting up for the St Patrick's day event in March 2013 for the first time. Does anyone have suggestions or comments for me....I appreciate them all...

"Thanks for the info, but I just read the fine print closely, and I must decline your invitation. What I have issue with is the clause where if we aren't accepted, we are still charged $25.

As a crafter, I don't agree with the practice, and I can't support it. To me, it is a hidden tax on an already strained industry. At it's worst, it is a way for a fair to increase revenue by "taking" applications even after they are full, and pocketing the extra money, without any intention of adding the crafters. While I don't accuse you of that, I have seen plenty of larger fairs do questionable things like this, so I keep my distance from what I consider an unfair practice."

I did the fair on veteran's day, and to me, it was VERY slow...no foot traffic. When I drove in, I didn't see any signs advertising the event, not even on the rotating electronic sign in front of the building. To me, having a sign up for a week or two before the event might have helped, since everyone drives along gulf blvd. Then, when we went to set up, bonnie decided to have us set up in the motor pool at ground level - which is a good idea, until we tried to fit two crafters per 12-14 foot wide space - not good when crafters have been told they were going to get a 10x10 space, and have PAID for a 10x10 space.
